These patterned pairs aren’t your average PJ’s, they are as chic as they are comfy. They are meant to be worn out and be seen in, and they  DO NOT  pair well with those awful clarifying masks that we often times wear to bed. Now, with that said, this PJ trend isn’t an excuse to actually look like you rolled out of bed, it’s quite the opposite. When wearing a head to toe silk number like this play up the makeup, through up the hair, and add some killer heels or even a blazer to top this whole look off.

With that fashion boot camp style briefing out of the way, do have fun and explore your pairings. All of the high street shops like Zara, H&M, Top Shop, and even Forever 21 are capitalizing on this trend by cutting less form fitting silhouettes so you don’t have to spend a fortune to get the look. I have always been an avid supporter of recycling, especially when it applies to fashion, so say you already have a good quality pair  of silk or satin night time PJ’s laying around – then, by all means, wear them as separates. Pajama pants can be paired with a simple cotton tee while the top goes well with your favorite cropped denim.

Love me some Alice Dellal! She brings fierce edge to the “Boy Chanel” 80’s punk inspired handbag collection. Lagerfeld had this to say about his leading lady’s style, Dellal,” represents the perfect incarnation of all that is unique about the Boy Chanel handbag collection, which strives [to be] far from conformist notions of femininity.”

Lots of good things here: C H A N E L

From now until July 8th the Denver Art Museum has the Yves Saint Laurent: The Retrospective  on exhibit. These haute couture pieces show the evolution of the YSL brand over the span of 40 years and really captivate the masculine  influences that Mr. Yves Saint Laurent brought to women’s fashion. This is the only US stop for the showcase, other showings will be in Paris and Madrid. For more information visit Denver Art Museum.

You’re not living if you’re not wearing printed denim these days. Patterned jeans have to be one of my top fave fads trending right now. Wear you denim long or cuffed, these jeans are sure to impress.

I just can’t seem to get enough of Prada’s Spring 2012 collection. I love how the masculinity of the 1950 car inspirations are softened and made sweet. Watching these designs in motion really make them come alive … I mean, after seeing this, who doesn’t want a pair of flame shoes?
