These studded boots by Anine Bing are perfect in every way and have been an obssion of mine for awhile. I recently spotted them at a fantastic boutique in Venice called Mona Moore. Anine Bing, model turned singer/ songwriter turned designer, designs pieces for the everyday girl combining vintage pattern peasant dresses with amazingly detailed leather pieces. I’d say all of Bing’s leather goods are high on my lust list … check them out here.

The Metroplitan Museum of Art’s yearly Constume Institute exhibit always brings in a bevy of style stars, from models to designers to Hollywood A-listers. The gala theme this year was “Punk: Chaos to Couture” … and punk couture is what we saw.

I am totally in love with this zodiac-inspired footwear with hand-painted details and Swarovski crystals accents by Charlotte Olympia. Everyone should have a fun flat in their wardrobe for those days you have a lot of running around to do.
