I surely don’t hate Juicy Couture’s Fall 2012 campaign with model, Karlie Kloss. Kloss takes a kick-ass approach to reclaiming California cool all to the beat of LL Cool J’s, “Going Back to Cali.”

Get’em girl!

So inspired by Christian Dior’s Haute Couture makeup choices for the Fall 2012 collection. Love the pop of color and the modern applications but the ombre rouge lips have to be my favorite since they mimic the seasonal change in the foliage.

Over the past weekend I had this great encounter with a San Franciscan. We had one of those conversations where our souls connected and we covered a plethora of topics but the most profound was our talk on art. We discussed the power of art and how it goes deeper than just the physical act of viewing a piece. Art is something you experience and feel within you. It evokes emotion and speaks to you. You may love or hate a work but a least  you felt something and next time ask yourself why you felt this way.

One quite riveting exhibition suggested to me by the San Franciscan was The Fashion World of Jean Paul Gaultier: From the Sidewalk to the Catwalk at the De Young museum in SF. The technology and hologramming on top of Gaultier’s parade of fashion through the ages makes this exhibit a MUST EXPERIENCE.

Here’s a sneak peak of the special exhibition going on now until August, 19 2012.

Fashion photographer Nick Knight, captured the overdressed full fashioned essence of F/W 12 with model Cara Delevingne and an array of furry friends in this first ever high fashion Instagram photo shoot well named, Pussycat, Pussycat. It’s almost hard to believe that all of these stunning photos were captured though the lends of an iPhone but it just goes to show how far fashion and technology have grown together.

“Instagram takes me back to the style of my earliest photography; no retouching and no long processes of post-porduction.”  – Nick Knight
