On the runway we saw a lot of the printed and embellished hero pants and at Miu Miu it was all about the vibrant pantsuit pairings. Regardless how you wear them, keep the pants the center of attention. Any of these styles pair well with a crisp button down or a leather peplum top and a pair of pointed pumps.
The big comfy sweater is a fall must-have but I especially love these Moroccan inspired pompom cable-knits right now. We initially saw these embellished sweaters at the Stella McCartney and Altuzarra shows for Fall 2012 but now we are seeing the same inspired sweater at Zara for a fraction of the cost. Style this knit by wearing it with an A-line skirt and sleek leather boots or your favorite skinnies and flats.
Just as I spotted the similarities of Isabel Marant’s Fall 2012 collection to what was in Zara – I’m doing it all over again but with Balmain. Atop are runway images from the Balmain ready-to-wear Fall 2012 collection and below are all the inspired pieces in stores at Zara now. I must, must say … I sure don’t hate it.
The red hot trend was all over the fall/ winter runway this season so get ready to add some spice to your wardrobe. My favorite picks congruent with this trend can be found everywhere from Target to Topshop and Barneys to Balmain. Definitely mix the highs with lows and definitely go all out.
