Black and navy with a pop of white is most definitely the color combo of the season. Nothing is more crisp, chic and on trend. Some of my clients ask me if it’s all right to mix silver and gold or black and brown and I always say, yes, absolutely because all of these “fashion rules” are meant to be broken anyways. When executed correctly some of these “rules” end up making quite the statement in the fashion world and take on a life of their own – next thing you know, that so called “rule” is now trending just like our beloved black and navy story. In conclusion, I completely endorse a navy and black situation, I’m such a fan and I can’t wait to see you rocking it!

Sweatshirt : Rag & Bone | Shirt : Zara | Vegan Leather Pants : Blank NYC | Faux Fur : H&M | Booties : Dolce Vita | Bag : Alexander Wang

Maybe it is the cool(er) weather or maybe my new hair but I was really inspired to create this super modern, super monochromatic look. I don’t normally do a whole lot of black because I always want to keep things interesting but these layers had that certain “je ne sais quoi” that I am always looking for in an outfit. Love that this Rag & Bone sweatshirt adds the perfect element of surprise to this look and I was pretty stoked to pair it with one of the many faux furs I have started to collect.

Hat, Sweater & Clutch : H&M | Shorts : Zara | Belt : St. Eve | Boots : Isabel Marant

When I set out to make this outfit the belt was really the inspiration, however I did not want to go typical boho with it so this outfit creation came about. I think it reads very Parisian due to the effortless layers, wide brim hat and the sprinkle of Isabel Marant.

Dress : Free People | Denim Jacket : Vintage | Beanie : Union | Thigh Highs : American Apparel | Booties : Opening Ceremony | Bag : Proenza Schouler

It’s no secret – I love lace and anything feminine and pretty. That’s why I ordered this Free People dress as soon as I saw it. I have already worn this dress a few different ways but for the blog I wanted to give you the less obvious way to wear it. I just thugged it up a bit and Voila! It’s fun mixing mediums so I totally suggest adding your favorite beanie or a boxy jacket to an ultra fem number.
